Polished & Powerful Week Day 7: SHOO Cosmetics

You may remember when I featured SHOO Cosmetics’ {previously named SHOO Polish} #MintToBeach, a mint green, during my It’s Beauty And Braids Presents: Spring 2017 Nail Polish Week.

SHOO is an acronym for: Smart, Hopeful, Optimistic, and Omnipresence. Owner Shawanda Vickers gives back to the women and girls in her community.

Since my last feature, this vegan {10 free} brand has: added bronzer, lipgloss, and lipstick, opened in the Macy’s at Lenox Square Mall {Atlanta}, and Michelle Obama has not only worn her polish, but sent her a thank you letter!

To wrap up my Annual “Polished & Powerful Week“, here’s my interview with Shawanda Vickers of SHOO Cosmetics.

Shawanda:#PinkCashmere.”

What is your go-to “all occasion” polish?

Besides getting your nails done, what is your favorite way to pamper yourself?

Shawanda: “Getting facials.”

Shawanda: “Other than getting married and having children, the proudest moment in business is conquering fear to launch my business and that launch eventually led to having SHOO Cosmetics Lipwear in Macy’s {Lenox in Atlanta}.”

What advice do you have for future Girl Bosses?

Shawanda: “Don’t allow FEAR to choke you out of launching your dream. If you do, you will starve for the rest of your life!”
